From the ashes of Sonoma County mainstay The Parade Route, bassist Stephen McWeeney and guitarist/singer Russ Mains have forged forward with a new sound that pays respect to all the best that rock has to offer, while staying true to their dedication to create original and compelling music.  The duo called in their long time friend Mic Hawk to fill the drummer’s seat, and with their combined experience the three began writing in a backyard shed with foracious speed.  Level Up Beat Down was born.  A band committed to groove and high energy, resulting in a tight recipe of rock that moves from punk to Pearl Jam, from ska to Red Hot Chili Peppers and beyond.  Follow the guys on Facebook for all the latest news, shows and music.
