TEENAGE SWEATER – Mario Armando Ruiz has a hard-on for synths. With his project Teenage Sweater, he is able to create and manipulate beats and soundwaves to his hearts desire, sometimes injecting his effected vocals in the mix. Consistently on the road, his latest album is available at shows or online. (www.selltheheartrecords.com)
SHUTEYE UNISON – Rising from the ashes of much loved band THE RUM DIARY, members of Shuteye Unison blend heavily effected instrumentation and ethereal vocals to produce their wall of sound. Their latest album Our Future Selves is now available on vinyl through their label Parks and Records (www.parksandrecords.com)
SURVIVAL GUIDE – Emily Whitehurst (ex-Tsunami Bomb/Action Design) and Jaycen McKissick (ex-Pipedown/Action Design) paired together after The Action Design dissolved and have put together a marriage of electro and indie in the form of Survival Guide. Their latest album is a 7″ called Wildcat, available through Side With Us Records (www.sidewithus.com)
